William E. "Mac" McKinstry

McKINSTRY – Colonel William E., "Mac", of Dedham and Wareham, died peacefully at home surrounded by his loving family on August 15th, 2013. Beloved husband of Jane E. (McGuckian) McKinstry and the late Elizabeth A. (McGuckian) McKinstry. Loving father of Elizabeth M. McKinstry and Katharine M. McKinstry. Also survived by a large and loving family, including his sister, Noreen M. Dunn, his cousin Skipi L. Smoot, many loving nieces and nephews, great nieces and great nephews, and many dear friends. Relatives and friends are invited to attend visiting hours in the Holden, Dunn and Lawler Funeral Home, 55 High Rock St. (off Route 109) Westwood on Wednesday Aug. 21st from 4-8pm. A Prayer Service will be celebrated in the funeral home on Thursday morning Aug. 22nd at 10am. Interment private. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Mac's memory to the Injured Marine Semper Fi Fund, 825 College Blvd., Suite 102, PMB 609, Oceanside, CA 92057 or www.semperfifund.org/donate. Mac was a Colonel of Marines (Ret.).
