William J. McCarthy

McCarthy, William J Jr., of Westwood, died February 14th, 2017. Beloved husband of the late Lola Frances (Zwicker) McCarthy. Loving father of William and his wife Kelly and their children Matthew and Melanie of Virginia and his daughter Linda and her husband David and their children Zachary and Jessica of Wakefield. Brother of the late Rita O'Neill. Also survived by many loving nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends are invited to attend visiting hours in the Holden, Dunn and Lawler Funeral Home, 55 High Rock St., Westwood on Tuesday Feb. 28th from 4-7pm. Funeral procession from the funeral home on Wednesday morning March 1st at 9:30am followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at St Timothy's Church, 650 Nichols St., Norwood at 10:30am. Interment with military honors at New Westwood Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in William's memory to Alzheimer's Association, 480 Pleasant St., Watertown, MA 02472. William was a U.S. Army Veteran of WWII.
