Foster, William Brockie (Brock), 69, died peacefully February 16, 2019 in his home in Norfolk, MA.
Brock is survived by his wife of 29 years, Sara (Suki) Foster and beloved daughter, Hatherly (Holly) Foster of Boston. Predeceased by his mother, Gwendolen (Fearing) White, father William (Bill) Foster, and sister Linda Foster White.
He is a graduate of Tabor Academy and Curry College. Brock was a cherished friend, nephew, uncle and cousin to countless people and was known for his outgoing and gregarious personality. With a passion for the outdoors, Brock was an avid fisherman, hunter and golfer spending many days at the Cape Cod Canal and in the Maine woods. Brock also had a passion for the sport of hockey and after playing for years, took on the role of coach and mentor to young athletes. Brock worked for Geiger Brothers for over 30 years selling promotional items to a variety of clients around the country.
A memorial service and celebration of his life, open to friends and family, will be held February 23, 2019 at 3 PM at the First Church and Parish of Dedham, at 670 High Street in Dedham, MA. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Memory of Brock Foster to Tabor Academy, Office of Development, at 66 Spring Street - Marion, MA 02738.
