McELROY – Thomas D., of Westwood, died March 28th, 2015 surrounded by his loving family. Beloved husband of Regina K. (McGee) McElroy for 58 years. Loving father of John F. of Virginia Beach, VA, Michael J. and his wife Tracey of Natick, William A. of Walpole and the late Thomas D. McElroy Jr. Devoted grandfather of John E. and Brendan T. McElroy. Brother of Rev. John W. McElroy of Palm Coast, FL and Charles A. McElroy of Brazil. Also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend visiting hours in the Holden, Dunn and Lawler Funeral Home, 55 High Rock St. (off Route 109) Westwood on Tuesday March 31st from 4-8pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday afternoon April 1st at 12:30pm in St. Denis Church, 157 Washington St., Westwood. Interment at New Westwood Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Thomas' memory to the Thomas D. McElroy Jr. Scholarship Fund at Boston College. Thomas was a U.S. Army Veteran of the Korean Era.
