Sue Ann (Pitterich) Molloy of Westwood, MA passed peacefully on the morning of March 16, 2025 surrounded by her loving family.
A graduate of Georgetown University and Boston College School of Nursing, she worked at various hospitals; most recently as the cardiac rehabilitation specialist at the Faulkner Hospital. She was an inspiration to everyone she led and nurtured.
Sue is survived by Bartholomew P. Molloy, her devoted husband of 53 years; by her children: Bart (Cathy) Molloy of Westwood, MA, Dr. Elizabeth (John) Wells of Washington, D.C., Sarah (Jay) Roxe of Newton, MA, and Meg Colella of Winchester, MA; by her 10 grandchildren: Timmy and Ryan Molloy, Teddy, Ollie, Mae Wells, Grace, Katherine, and Joey Roxe, and Charlotte and Dylan Colella, and by her younger brother Michael Pitterich of Pittsburgh, PA. Sue was preceded in death by her parents Wernert and Alberta Pitterich, and her older brother Joseph Pitterich.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend visiting hours in the Holden, Dunn and Lawler Funeral Home, 55 High Rock Street in Westwood, MA on Thursday, March 20th from 4-7pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, March 21st at 10am in St. Margaret Mary Church, 845 High Street, Westwood, MA.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Children’s National Hospital in Washington, DC or Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, two organizations close to Sue’s heart.
