Wallace, Rose-Marie age 89, of Mansfield, MA formerly of Westwood, MA passed peacefully on Friday, May 20, 2022.
She was the beloved wife of George Wallace to whom she was married for nearly 68 years. Mother of Stephen and his wife Karen of Mansfield, Robert and his wife Trudy of Norwood, George and his wife Linda of Mansfield, and Mark and his partner Barbara Frangie of Norwood. Rose was the grandmother of Daniel Wallace, Lindsay Grant, David Wallace, Eric Wallace, Robert Wallace, Patrick Wallace, Michael Wallace, Carolyn Driscoll, Anthony Frangie, and Jake Frangie. She was also the great-grandmother of Harrison, Bowen, and Daphne Grant, Thomas, Michael, and Jonathan Wallace, Hunter Driscoll, Grace, Olivia, and Ryan Frangie, and Sienna and Cade Frangie.
She was the daughter of the late Francesco and Grace (D'Alessio) Eppolito, and the sister of the late Lawrence and his wife Nancy Eppolito, and several nieces and nephews.
Rose was the Class Valedictorian at Roslindale High School, Class of 1950. She worked for the Westwood School Department for 10 years, and for the Town of Westwood for 32 years. She never missed a sports game her sons and grandchildren played in.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend Visiting Hours in the Holden, Dunn, and Lawler Funeral Home, 55 High Rock St., Westwood on Monday, May 30th from 2-5 P.M. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, May 31st in St. Denis Church, 157 Washington St., Westwood at 10:00 A.M. Interment at New Westwood Cemetery.
