MORRISON – Roderick C., "Rocky", Retired Westwood Deputy Fire Chief, of Gray, ME, formerly of Westwood, died at home surrounded by his loving family on March 28th, 2014.
Beloved husband of Sheila A. (Faga) Morrison for 39 years. Loving father of Brian of Marstons Mills, Cape Cod and James "Jamie" of Taunton. Brother of William "Bill" and his wife Annie of Westwood, John and his wife Donna of Westwood and Kathleen Wallace and her husband Dave of Manassas, VA. Brother-in-law of Jean Beattie of Canton and Peter Faga and his wife Denise of Scituate. Also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend visiting hours in the Holden, Dunn and Lawler Funeral Home, 55 High Rock St. (off Route 109) Westwood on Wednesday April 2nd from 4-8pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in St. Margaret Mary Church, 845 High St., Westwood on Thursday morning April 3rd at 10am. Interment with military honors at Old Westwood Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Rocky's memory to The Retired Professional Firefighters Cancer Fund Inc., 4 Loretta Drive, Binghamton, NY 13905 or to a favorite charity of your choice. Rocky was a U.S. Navy Veteran of Vietnam.
