Roberta E. (McDevitt) Gately-Knox

Gately-Knox, Roberta E. (McDevitt), of Norwood, formerly of Westwood, passed away peacefully on July 20, 2018. Beloved wife of the late Robert F. Gately, BPD and loving mother of James, William, Karen, Robert & Paul Knox. Devoted grandmother of James Knox Jr., Danielle Barrata, Chris Knox, William Knox Jr., Katlyn & Jenny Knox, and the late Brittney Testa. Great grandmother of Landen & Taryn Barrata and Joseph and Bridget Knox. Sister of the late Francis McDevitt, Muriel McDevitt and Marie MacDonald. Also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Visitation in the Holden, Dunn and Lawler Funeral Home, 55 High Rock St., WESTWOOD, (Route 95, Exit 16B) on Wednesday morning July 25th from 9:30 – 10:30am. Following the visitation, a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Margaret Mary Church, 845 High St., Westwood at 11:00am. Interment at Blue Hill Cemetery, Braintree. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Robert's memory to the Boston Police Department, Cops for Kids with Cancer Charity.
