Robert F. Medeiros

Robert Medeiros of Dedham, MA passed away peacefully on March 16, 2025 surrounded by his loving family.

After retiring from the Commissary at Hanscom Air Force Base, he worked at Fenway Park for the last 20 years where he was affectionately known as Fenway Bob to his many friends and fans in his Fenway family. He was known for his kind heart and generous spirit and was a long-time volunteer at Beth Israel Needham. Robert was an avid fisherman who loved the outdoors. Nothing brought a smile to his face more than his grandchildren.

Robert is survived by Ann Medeiros (Catarius), his devoted wife of 61 years; by his children: Carol (Christopher) Mahoney of Canton, MA, John (Kelly) Medeiros of Foxboro, MA; by his grandchildren: Matthew, Brendon and Ava, and by his sister Donna Long of Hadley, MA. Robert was preceded in death by his parents Clement and Mary Medeiros and his brother Clement Medeiros.

Family visiting hours will be held from 9:00 - 10:30 on March 24 at the Holden-Dunn-Lawler Funeral Home, 55 High Rock St., Westwood. All friends and relatives are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Margaret Mary Church, 845 High Street, Westwood on Monday, March 24 at 11am. Interment following the Mass will be private. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Tunnel to Towers Foundation.
