Robert F. McKelvey Jr.

Robert F. McKelvey Jr. of Westwood MA and Walpole MA and World Tennis, Naples, FL died October 1, 2023. He was 90 years old.  A lifelong New Englander, Bob was born in Bridgeport Conn and graduated as an Electrical Engineer from the University of Connecticut. Eventually relocating to the Boston area to start a successful electronic representative business when Boston was flush with electrical manufacturing. 

Bob slowly blended business with retirement and began wintering in Naples, Florida where tennis was the order of the day. A lifelong passion he was still playing singles during his last year in Florida. As a seasoned traveler, he would see almost every major tennis event, from Monico to Paris, England to Miami.

A loving husband twice married. First to Denise Ducharme, of Millbury Mass for 36 years until her untimely passing and then to Audrey Paglicco of Walpole Mass, for an additional 18 years.

Bob leaves behind daughter Michelle, and sons Stephen and spouse Jiwon, Robert III and partner Kim.  Granddaughter Sesil McKelvey and Grandsons Eli and Aden Artz. A true role model and conversationist, he will be greatly missed.

Additionally, Robert is survived by his sister Mary Cummings, and multiple nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Saturday October 21^st at 10am in St. Margaret Mary Church, 845 High St., Westwood. A quick friend, Robert’s easy personality and good advice made him someone you always wanted to see again.  40-Luv Bob!
