Robert P. McGinnis

McGinnis, Robert P., of Westwood, passed away in the comfort of his own home and surrounded by loved ones on November 1, 2018. Beloved husband of the late Catherine A. (Farrell) McGinnis. Loving father of David F. McGinnis, Ann O'Connell, Mary McGinnis and the late Robert P. McGinnis Jr. Also survived by 7 grandchildren: Kaitlyn, Molly, Kevin, Daniel, Maura, Krista, David and the late Declan O'Connell. Great grandfather of William and Liliana. Brother of the late Ed, Tommy and Betty. Robert was a past member of the Norfolk Golf Club and a retiree of the New England Telephone Company. Relatives and friends are invited to attend visiting hours in the Holden, Dunn and Lawler Funeral Home, 55 High Rock St., WESTWOOD on Monday Nov. 5th from 4-8pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday morning Nov. 6th at 11am at St. Timothy's Church, 650 Nichols St., Norwood. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Robert's memory to Special Olympics at www.specialolympicsma.org.
