Robert F. MacSwain

Robert MacSwain, of St. Augustine, Florida, died on Wednesday September 6,2023 at age 80.  Bob was preceded in death by his wife Jean and son Brian.  Bob is survived by his sister Lynne Greene and her husband Mark of Hingham, his brother Jim and wife Debby of Colorado Springs, and brother Frank and wife Lori of Halifax.  Bob is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews and grand nieces and nephews.  Bob was born in Roxbury MA, and lived in Dorchester MA, Enfield CT, Canton MA and St. Augustine.

Bob started his long career in business working for The Hartford.  In December 2000 Bob was appointed Vice Chairman of Florida East Coast Industries and was responsible for managing all of the company's real estate.

He will be missed by his lifelong friends from Roxbury and Dorchester, his many friends from Southie and Notre Dame, the guys from the Eire Pub, and his large circle of friends in St. Augustine.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend visiting hours in the Holden, Dunn, Lawler Funeral Home, 55 High Rock St. Westwood, MA on Monday September 18, 2023, from 4-8 p.m.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday morning September 19, 2023, at Saint Oscar Romero Church, 700 Washington Street, Canton, MA at 10 a.m.  Interment at Knollwood Memorial Park, Canton.
