Robert L. Lanata

LANATA – Robert L., of Westwood, formerly of Hyde Park, died September 10th, 2015. Beloved husband of Pauline F. (Dunn) Lanata and the late Mary (Francioso) Lanata. Loving father of Bobby Lanata of ME, Andrea Gaddis and her husband Michael of CT, Michael Lanata and his wife Diane of AZ and Maria Lanata and her boyfriend Joseph Lazzaro of Foxboro. Step-father of Jon Finn of Whitman, Gregory Finn and his wife Gail of Norwood and the late Donna Nagel and her husband Gene of Woburn. Devoted grandfather of Jessica, Eddie and April Gaddis and Nick and Tony Lanata. Brother of the late Virginia Scolley. Also survived by many loving nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends are invited to attend visiting hours in the Holden, Dunn and Lawler Funeral Home, 55 High Rock St. (off Route 109) Westwood on Sunday Sept. 13th from 2-5pm. The funeral will begin at the funeral home on Monday morning Sept. 14th at 9am followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Margaret Mary Church, Westwood at 10am. Interment with military honors at New Calvary Cemetery, Mattapan. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Robert's memory to the New England Paralyzed Veterans of America (NEPVA), 1600 Providence Hwy., Suite 143, Walpole, MA 02081. Robert was a U.S. Navy Veteran of the Korean era.
