Robert W. Giblin
October 11, 1925 — July 25, 2009
Robert W. Giblin, of Walpole, formerly of Belmont, Barrington RI and Westwood, died July 25th 2009. Beloved husband to Jeanne M. (Gilligan) Giblin for 54 years. Loving father of Jeanne Giblin Raftery and her husband David of Walpole and Robert T. Giblin and his wife Susan of Hingham. Devoted grandfather of Brendan and Jacqueline Raftery and Alexander, Morgan and Madison Giblin. Brother of Ruth Mollica of Concord NH and the late Edward Giblin. Also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend visiting hours in the Holden, Dunn and Lawler Funeral Home, 55 High Rock St. (off Route 109) Westwood on Tuesday July 28th from 4-8pm.
Funeral from the funeral home on Wednesday morning July 29th at 8am followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Timothy’s Church, 650 Nichols St., Norwood at 9am. Interment at New Westwood Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Robert’s memory to the American Heart Association, 20 Speen St., Framingham, MA 01701.
