CONNORS – Robert Vincent, 79, of Dover, MA passed away peacefully in his home on February 16th, 2012.

Robert was a Boston College graduate of 1955. Robert served for the Navy and met his lovely wife Dorothy (Bailey) Connors while on a Navy leave and were married shortly after in 1958. Robert worked for John Hancock Life Insurance Company for 32 years while achieving many awards. He also belonged to the Lazy Loopers Flying Club for 25 years, and would fly his planes every Sunday.

He is the son of late George and Eileen Connors of Dedham, MA. He is survived by his wife Dorothy Connors, and his 6 children; George Connors and his wife Jennifer of Seabrook, NH, Robert Connors of Dover, MA, Peter Connors and his wife Kathy of Mansfield MA, Ellen Ringler and husband Bill of Attleboro, MA, Daniel Connors of Dover MA, and Cathy Denty and husband David of Natick, MA. He is also survived by his sister Eileen (Connors) Carlson and her husband Ed of Cadillac, Michigan, nephew Ed Carlson of Cadillac, Michigan, and niece Maureen Carlson of St. Louis, Missouri. He also leaves behind 12 grandchildren.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend visiting hours in the Holden, Dunn and Lawler Funeral Home, 55 High Rock St. (off Route 109) Westwood on Sunday Feb. 19th from 2-5pm. The funeral will begin at the funeral home on Monday morning Feb. 20th at 9am followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Margaret Mary Church at 10am. Interment at Highland Cemetery, Dover.
