Burke, Rita M. (Walsh) entered eternal life on Saturday 27 January 2018 at the Elizabeth Seton Residence in Wellesley, Massachusetts. Rita's husband John J. Burke Sr., Retired Sergeant Detective of the Boston Police Department, predeceased her. She is survived by her children; James G. Burke, Westwood, MA, Mary & Paul Kearns, Cambridge, MA, Joanne & Michael Fagnant, Sandwich, MA and John J. Burke Jr., Pawtucket, RI. Her grandchildren are: Michael Levine, Steven Levine and Jacqueline & Bob Cassin. The family invites you to join with them in a Mass of Christian Burial, Wednesday 31 January 2018 at 11:00 AM in the Church of Saint Denis, 157 Washington Street, Westwood, MA. Interment will follow at the Knollwood Cemetery, Canton, MA. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to Elizabeth Seton Residence, 125 Oakland Street, Wellesley, MA 02481.
