Richard J. Barrett

Barrett --- Richard J. of Milton, formerly of Norwood and West Roxbury. After a long illness, August 14, 2018. Beloved husband of Agnes E. (O'Hara) Barrett. Loving father of Margaret Barrett of Arlington, Richard Barrett and his wife Jean of Westwood, Ginny Cook and her husband Ken of Norfolk and Christine Davis and her husband Greg of Roswell, GA. Also survived by eleven loving grandchildren.
Graduate of Boston College, Class of 1961. Richard was a long-time teacher for Needham High School and an active parishioner at both St. Theresa of Avila Church, West Roxbury and St. Denis Parish, Westwood.
Funeral from the Holden - Dunn - Lawler Funeral Home 55 High Rock St., Westwood, on Saturday, August 18, at 9:00am. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in St. Denis Church at 10:00am. Relatives and friends are invited to attend. Visiting hours in the funeral home on Friday, from 4:00 to 7:00pm. Interment St. Joseph Cemetery.
