Randall S. "Randy" Bourne

BOURNE- Randall S. "Randy", of Norwood, formerly of Westwood, died January 25th, 2016. Beloved son of the late Phil Bourne Jr. and Betty Jean (Smith) Bourne. Loving brother to Donn R. Bourne and his wife Maria of Round Pond, Maine and Stephen P. Bourne and Janet Bourne of Concord NH. Also survived by many loving nieces, nephews and their families. Randy attended Westwood schools and enjoyed his lifelong passion of playing and teaching tennis. Randy was an avid reader and thoroughly enjoyed fishing as well as archeology. Following high school, Randy attended U-Mass Amherst for a time before pursuing his career in tennis, both as an accomplished player and doubles partner and as a much loved teacher and mentor to many kids as well as adults. Randy also enjoyed travel, often in one of a few sports cars. After retiring from tennis and due in part to the effects of diabetes, Randy devoted most of his time and energy to the care of our Mom and Dad. He will be missed. Services and interment will be private.
