Pearl M. (Flechsig) Lapan

LAPAN – Pearl M. (Flechsig), of Westwood, formerly of Springfield, died June 13th, 2013. Beloved wife of Alfred J. Lapan for 67 years. Loving mother of Patricia Carbone, Richard Lapan, Eileen Saliba, Barbara Woodbury, Michael Lapan, Susan Romiti and Paul Lapan. Sister of Walter and Donald Flechsig, Christine Goodchild, Marianne Lapotka and the late Charles Flechsig. Also survived by 17 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren and many loving nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a visitation in the Holden, Dunn and Lawler Funeral Home, 55 High Rock St. (off Route 109) Westwood on Saturday morning June 15th from 10-11:30am. Following the visitation a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in St. Denis Church, Westwood at Noon. Interment private. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Pearl's memory to the Alzheimer's Association, 480 Pleasant St., Watertown, MA 02472.
