Pauline J. Sheehan

SHEEHAN, Pauline J. (Walsh), of Westwood, MA, formerly of Milton, MA died November 25, 2022 surrounded by her loving family. Beloved wife of Paul J. Sheehan Jr. for 50 years. Loving sister of the late Mary Austin. Cherished aunt of Moira Austin Peterson and her husband David of Wrentham and great aunt of Caitlin Peterson. Also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
Pauline graduated in 1950 as Class Valedictorian from Jeanne d'Arc Academy, Milton, MA and then went on to graduate from Emmanuel College 1954, and then earned her MBA from Boston State College. She taught in both the Marshfield and Burlington school systems and then later for 36 years as a 3rd grade teacher at the Dedham Oakdale Elementary School. Pauline was a co-owner of the Ansa-tel Answering Service and was a member of the Westwood Lions Club. She loved to cook and was especially proud of her homemade Irish bread. She had a lifelong love for her pets, English Bull Terriers and Border Terriers.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Visitation in the Holden, Dunn and Lawler Funeral Home, 55 High Rock St., Westwood on Friday Dec. 2nd from 9-10:30am. Following the Visitation, a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in St. Margaret Mary Church, 845 High St., Westwood at 11am. Interment at St. Joseph's Cemetery, West Roxbury. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Pauline's memory to Boston Catholic TV, P.O. Box 9196, Watertown, MA 02471.
