DUNN – Pauline E. "Polly" (Egan), of Westwood, died March 4th, 2016. Polly was born in Boston on September 23, 1940 to Beatrice and Thomas Egan. On June 26, 1965, she married the love of her life for more than fifty years, Thomas J. Dunn. She was the loving mother of Polly A. McLeod and Thomas E. Dunn (wife Kozue) and devoted grandmother of Alicia Kelley (husband William) and Kailey McLeod. She will be greatly missed by her dear friends, Marguerite Camozzi, Cheryl Matthews, and Stephanie Mondesire. She leaves a legacy of love, and was the definition of friendship. Polly devoted her life to her family and her work as a dance instructor. For over fifty years, Polly was a mentor and role model for countless young women. She not only taught them dance, but she taught them to give back as well. Through her volunteer dance performances at Boston's Children's Hospital, she brought joy to innumerable children and parents over many years. Relatives and friends are invited to attend visiting hours in the Holden, Dunn and Lawler Funeral Home, 55 High Rock St. (off Route 109) Westwood on Wednesday March 9th from 3-8pm. Funeral from the funeral home on Thursday morning March 10th at 10am followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at Most Precious Blood Church, 30 Centre St., Dover at 11am. Interment private. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Pauline's memory to The Fisher House Boston, 1400 VFW Parkway, West Roxbury, MA 02132.
