Paul R. Deegan of Westwood, formerly of Nahant, died August 11, 2009.
Beloved husband of the late Margaret Anna (Powell) Deegan. Son of the late James G. and Esolean (Parsons) Deegan. Brother of the late Dorothy Roberts, Mary Flint, Marge Goulet, James Deegan, and Robert Deegan. Loving father of Paul, Jr., and his wife Andrea of Texas, Michael and his wife Isabel of Virginia, Gail Foley of Bedford, Daniel and his wife Susan of Kentucky, Janet Delfino and her husband Richard of Westwood, Marian Deegan of Westwood, Dawn Deegan of Florida and Diane Deegan of Carlisle. Also survived by his sisters-in-law Alicia Deegan of Lynn and Eleanor Deegan of Lynn, 13 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren, and many loving nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend visiting hours in the Holden, Dunn and Lawler Funeral Home, 55 High Rock St. (off Route 109) Westwood on Sunday August 16th from 2-6pm. Funeral from the funeral home on Monday morning August 17th at 9am followed by a Mass of Christian burial in St. Margeret Mary Church at 10am. Interment private.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Paul’s memory to Maryknoll, Dept. WEB, PO Box 302, Maryknoll, NY 10545-0302.
