Haviland, Patricia (Durey) of Westwood, MA, formerly of Dedham, MA, died peacefully at home on January 12, 2021.
Born in Stamford, CT on August 4, 1934 to Kathryn Talbot Durey and John Coleman Durey, senior. Predeceased by her siblings John jr., Forbes, and Jane Skidmore.
Beloved wife of Theodore Haviland 3rd for 63 years. Mother of Anne H. Cullen (Barry), and David M. Haviland (Kate). Predeceased by her eldest son, Theodore Haviland 4th. Cherished grandmother of Sarah, John, and Richard Cullen, and David, James, and Theodore Haviland. Loving aunt to many nieces and nephews.
An alumna of the Ethel Walker School and Smith College, Pat enjoyed gardening, needlepoint, and rug hooking. She earned the title of Life Master in bridge. Through the Noanet Garden Club, Pat participated in many floral design competitions, winning first place several times.
Her favorite role in life was loving her kids and grandkids to the fullest. Grammy will be missed deeply by all.
Due to COVID concerns a private ceremony will be held for immediate family only.
