Patricia Anne (Limerick) Skelly, of Naples, FL, Needham, MA, and formerly of Westwood, MA died February 8, 2023 surrounded by her loving family. Beloved wife of the late Thomas F. Skelly. Loving mother of Thomas Francis Skelly Jr. and his wife Kathleen of Wellesley, MA; John Skelly and his wife Kate of Concord, MA; Peter Skelly and his wife Linda of Annapolis, MD; and Matt Skelly and his wife Susan of Sudbury, MA.
The great joy of her life over the last 30 years was spending time and making memories with her 10 adoring grandchildren: Cara Skelly of Washington, DC, Ryan Skelly of Pasadena, CA, Monica Skelly of New York, NY, Liam Skelly of Los Angeles, CA, Katherine Skelly of Chicago, IL, Charlotte Skelly of Concord, MA, Graham Skelly of Sudbury, MA, Samantha Skelly of Sudbury, MA, Alexandra Skelly of Concord, MA and, Jill Skelly of Sudbury, MA. From beach adventures along the Gulf Coast of Florida to high school and college graduations and all the milestones in between, Grand Mom was always there to provide her love and support.
She is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
A native of Jamaica Plain, MA, Pat graduated from Roslindale High School in 1951 and Regis College in 1956. She married her sweetheart, Tom, in September of 1958. Together, they raised their four sons in West Roxbury and Westwood while traveling the world together throughout Tom’s work career and their retirement years. It was always a joy to hear her stories of their travels to nearly 60 countries over the years. In the late 1990’s Tom and Pat moved to Pelican Bay in Naples, FL where they enjoyed countless sunsets with the many new friends they made at their new condominium and golf club.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend Visiting Hours in the Holden, Dunn and Lawler Funeral Home, 55 High Rock St., Westwood on Friday March 31st from 4-7pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in St. Margaret Mary Church, 845 High St., Westwood on Saturday morning April 1st at 10am. Interment at New Westwood Cemetery.
