Pamela (Maloof) Lamb, 75, of Marshfield, MA passed away on August 20, after a brave two year battle with severe aplastic anemia. Her son Michael was at her side.
Pamela was the daughter of the late Emil and Rose Maloof. She grew up in West Roxbury and Dedham, happily spending most childhood summers in Gloucester. As an adult, after living in Connecticut and Hyde Park, she moved back to the same street in Marshfield where her first summers had been spent.
A graduate of Wheelock College, she channeled her love of children into her work as a teacher and as director of a Head Start program. A devoted wife and mother, Pamela had a sweet nature and a wonderful sense of humor. She'll be forever missed.
She was predeceased by her beloved husband Douglas, as well as her brothers George and Richard Maloof, and her sister Phyllis Malloy.
Aside from Michael, she is survived by her brother-in-law Jack Malloy, as well as many nieces and nephews.
A committal service and interment will take place at the MA National Cemetery in Bourne on Thursday August 25th at 12:30pm.
Many thanks are given to the unknown blood donors who helped her stay alive to fight her disease. To donate blood, visit: https://www.aabb.org/for-donors-patients/give-blood
