Noreen Curtin (Westwood and formerly, Miltown Malbay, CoClare Ireland) passed away peacefully on 18 March, leaving behind a legacy of love, strength, and devotion to her family.
Born in Ireland, Noreen carried her Irish roots with pride throughout her life. She made her home with husband Chris and children Adrienne and Ryan in Westwood, Massachusetts, where she lived for over forty years and built a life centered on family and friendship.
Noreen was a proud graduate of Northeastern University, earning her Bachelor of Arts degree in Computer Science. She went on to have a successful and dedicated career at State Street Corporation, where she worked in Information Technology for over twenty years.
Noreen found happiness in life’s simple pleasures. She loved spending time with her husband and children—whether camping together, enjoying special outings to get her nails done with her daughter, going to her children’s sporting events or sitting peacefully by the fire. These everyday moments meant everything to her and created lasting memories for those she loved.
She was the beloved wife of Christopher Kelly and a devoted mother to her cherished children, Adrienne and Ryan, the center of her world. Predeceased by her mother, Nora Curtin and sister Hazel. Beloved daughter of Donie Curtin (Miltown Malbay and formerly Westwood). Loving sister of Anne and husband Martin, Dan and wife Maryanne, Pat and wife Meabh and John. Beloved Mother-in-law Mary Kelly and sister-in-law to Daniel, Edward, Leo and Stephan. She will be sadly missed by her many nieces, nephews and friends
May she rest in the bed of heaven.
