TUCCILLO – Mayre G. (Albani) of Westwood, age 93, died peacefully in her sleep on June 16th, 2011 at the Victoria Haven Nursing Home in Norwood, MA.
She was born and raised on Como Road in Readville, MA and graduated from Hyde Park High School in 1935. She lived most of her adult life on Greenacre Road in Westwood, MA where she was an active bridge player, bowled in the 125 Club League and was a member of Norfolk Golf Club.
Beloved wife of the late Maurice J. Tuccillo. Loving mother of Joan Tuccillo of Norwood, Ralph Tuccillo and wife Sandra of Woodbridge, Virginia and Dianne Tuccillo of Arlington. Mayre was a loving grandmother of Brian, Michael and his wife Ashley and Stephen Tuccillo and two great granddaughters Riley and Dillon Tuccillo. She is survived by two of her eight siblings, sister Madeline Austin and brother Orlando Albani and wife Mary and a sister-in-law Ann Albani along with many loving nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend visiting hours in the Holden, Dunn and Lawler Funeral Home, 55 High Rock St. (off Route 109) Westwood on Sunday June 26th from 2-5pm. The funeral will begin at the funeral home on Monday morning June 27th at 9am followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Margaret Mary Church at 10am. Interment at New Westwood Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Mayre’s memory to the Alzheimer’s Association, P.O Box 96011, Washington DC 20090-6011.
