Mary "Pat" (Gainey) O'Brien

O’BRIEN – Mary “Pat” (Gainey), of Norwood, formerly of Roslindale, passed away peacefully on December 19, 2009. Beloved wife of the late George F. O’Brien. Loving mother of Daniel of Norwood, John and his wife Cathy of Newburg, OR, Mary Morgan of Norwood, Ruth O’Donnell and her husband Steve of Westwood and James of Destin, FL. Devoted grandmother of Brendan and Mark O’Brien, Kevin, Sean and Maureen Morgan, Meaghan, Patricia and Matthew O’Donnell and Terence and Cynthia O’Brien. Sister of the late Jeremiah and John Gainey. Also survived by many loving nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends are invited to attend visiting hours in the Holden, Dunn and Lawler Funeral Home, 55 High Rock St. (off Route 109) Westwood on Tuesday Dec. 22nd from 4-8pm. Funeral from the funeral home on Wednesday morning Dec. 23rd at 8am followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Denis Church at 9am. Interment at Forest Hills Cemetery, Jamaica Plain.
