MEADE, Mary Jo (McLaughlin)

Age 84, of Westwood, MA (formally of Needham, MA) passed away peacefully on January 7, 2024, surrounded by her loving family.  Mary was the beloved wife of Peter J Meade for 60 years; devoted mother of John Meade and his wife Ann of Needham, Peter Meade and his wife Jodi of Stoneham, Kevin Meade and his wife Molly of Milton, Brian Meade and his wife Jennifer of Needham and Maureen Roycroft and her husband Alan of Westwood.  Loving “Nanny” to Ryan, Chris, Matthew, Peter, Allison, Kevin, Grace, Sophia Meade and Sarah, Katie and Jack Roycroft.  Preceded in death by her parents Joseph and Sarah McLaughlin from Donegal Ireland and her brother John “Jackie” who passed away at age 14.  Loved by many cousins in the Boston area as well as Clonmany Donegal, Ireland.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend Visting Hours in the Holden, Dunn and Lawler Funeral Home, 55 High Rock St., Westwood on Thursday January 11^th from 4-7 pm.  A mass will be celebrated on Friday morning January 12^th at 10:00 am in St Margaret Mary Church, 845 High St. Westwood.  Interment will follow in St. Mary’s Cemetery, 57 Wellesley Ave, Needham.
