Lyons, Mary Elizabeth (White), of Walpole, formerly of Westwood, Mashpee, Cambridge, and Hull died April 17, 2017 with loved ones by her side to help ease her journey.
Loving mother of Timothy Lyons of Boulder, CO, Kathleen Lyons Reker and her late husband George of Evansville, IN, Shawn Lyons of Anchorage, AK, Robert Lyons of Portland, OR, Sarah Lyons of Westwood and the late Col. Terence Lyons. Mother-in- law of Kyoko Lyons of Arlington, VA. Devoted grandmother of Sean Lyons, Mariko Lyons, Trevor Lyons, Adam Franklin-Lyons and his wife Marjorie Wickenden, Kelly Franklin-Lyons and Matthew Franklin-Lyons, and great grandmother of Silas and Elana Wickenden who brought great light and joy into Mary's life. Sister of Margaret Casey of Cohasset and the late Joseph, Thomas, John, and Robert White. Also survived by many fabulously devoted, kind, and loving nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend visiting hours in the Holden, Dunn and Lawler Funeral Home, 55 High Rock St., Westwood on Sunday April 23rd from 2-5pm. Funeral procession from the funeral home on Monday morning April 24th at 10:30am followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Mary's Church, 176 Washington St., East Walpole, MA at Noon. Interment private.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Mary's memory to the charity she held closest to her heart, Partners In Health at www.pih.org.
