Mary A. Dempsey

DEMPSEY – Mary A., of Walpole, formerly of Westwood and Jamaica Plain, died January 13th, 2014. Beloved daughter of the late Dennis J. Dempsey and Jennie (McGarrigle) Dempsey. Loving sister of Alice V. Hogan of West Roxbury and sister-in-law of the late James R. Hogan. Devoted aunt of James Hogan Jr. and his wife Catherine of Medway, Denis Hogan and his wife Cheryl of Franklin, Gerard Hogan and his late wife Cynthia of Westwood, Brian Hogan and his wife Diane of Melrose and Michael Hogan and his wife Susan of Tewksbury. Great aunt of Melinda, Lindsey, Erin, Denis, Christopher, Jessica, Andrea, Leanne, Caitlyn, Emily and Sarah. Mary was a former employee of the Jordan Marsh Company and the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend visiting hours in the Holden, Dunn and Lawler Funeral Home, 55 High Rock St. (off Route 109) Westwood on Thursday Jan. 16th from 4-7pm. The funeral will begin at the funeral home on Friday morning Jan. 17th at 9am followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Margaret Mary Church, Westwood at 10am. Interment at Mt. Benedict Cemetery, West Roxbury.
