Marion (Vece) Lancaster

LANCASTER – Marion (Vece), of Mashpee, formerly of Dorchester, died December 3rd 2012. Beloved wife of the late William F. "Bill" Lancaster. Loving mother of William A. Lancaster and his spouse Adria of Walpole and Brian P. Lancaster and his spouse Steven Fuchs of New York City. Devoted grandmother of Aidan, Tess, Anna and William. Daughter of the late Ida Vece, sister of Edith L'Heureux of Scituate and Victor Vece of Redwood City, California. Also survived by several loving nieces and nephews. A wonderful, loving, hardworking woman who devoted her life to her sons and husband. "Mamma zembah mamma", or "la mamma e sempre la mamma" - "your mother will always be there for you." Relatives and friends are invited to attend visiting hours in the Holden, Dunn and Lawler Funeral Home, 55 High Rock St. (off Route 109) Westwood on Thursday Jan. 3rd from 4-8pm . Funeral from the funeral home on Friday morning Jan. 4th at 9am followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Timothy's Church, 650 Nichols St., Norwood at 10am. Interment at the MA National Cemetery, Bourne at 1pm.
