Marie Angele Spinello

Apr 17, 1956 — Jul 22, 2026

Homosassa, Florida & Westwood, MA

Marie Angele Sicard Spinello, 70, passed away peacefully on July 22, 2026. Born on April 17, 1956, she was the beloved eldest child of the late Louis and Patricia (Pinard) Sicard.

Marie grew up in Westwood before moving to Hyde Park following her marriage to her husband, Michael Spinello. They later moved to Chelmsford, MA, where they raised their two cherished sons, Michael and Nicholas. For the past 24 years, Marie shared her life with her devoted partner, John Trottier. Together, they created lasting memories first in Ashland, NH, and most recently in Homosassa, FL.

Family was the absolute center of Marie’s world. As the oldest of seven siblings, she helped anchor a large, loving family. Her favorite role in life, however, was being "Gam" to her three grandsons, Ryan, Mikey, and Jack, who brought her endless joy. Professionally, Marie spent many years caring for patients as a dental assistant before transitioning into a career as a scheduler. She was a woman of many talents who found happiness in the quiet pleasures of life, including crafting, chasing her grandchildren around the beach, playing card games, cooking, baking banana bread, gardening, and spending time with those she loved.

Marie leaves behind a massive legacy of love. She is survived by her life partner, John Trottier; her sons, Michael and his wife Katie of Milton, and Nicholas and his wife Sarah of Westwood; and her adored grandsons, Ryan, Mikey, and Jack. She is also survived by her six siblings and their spouses: Lorraine and Joe Cavanaugh of Medfield; Robert and Marcia Sicard of Franklin; Paul and Karen Sicard of Walpole; Dan and Myra Sicard of Grinnell, IA; Suzanne and Robert Werner of Sturbridge; and Michelle Parisi of Warwick, RI, as well as many nieces, nephews, and extended family members.

The family extends their deepest gratitude to Marie's dear friend, Jackie Baker, whose presence, love, and comfort during Marie's final days meant more than words can express.
