Maria C. (Sinacola) Wilkes

August 11, 1918 — April 8, 2010

WILKES – Maria C. (Sinacola), of Westwood, formerly of Mission Hill, died April 8th, 2010.

Beloved wife of the late Albert E. Wilkes. Loving mother of Paul Wilkes and his wife Regina of Dedham. Devoted grandmother of Jillian, Rachel and Candace Wilkes all of Dedham. Also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.

Maria was predeceased by 11 brothers and sisters.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend visiting hours in the Holden, Dunn and Lawler Funeral Home, 55 High Rock St. (off Route 109) Westwood on Sunday April 11th from 3-6pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday morning April 12th at 10am in St. Margaret Mary Church, Westwood. Interment at St. Joseph Cemetery, West Roxbury.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Maria’s memory to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, P.O. Box 1000, Dept. 142, Memphis, TN 38148-0142. Maria was active in the Mission Church: Our Lady of Perpetual Help and a former employee of the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston and Kanes Cleaners, Roslindale.
