Margaret McDONALD

McDONALD, Margaret G. (Fitzgerald), 93, formerly of Westwood, died September 15, 2021 at home surrounded by her loving family. Peg was born in Boston, MA on Nov. 1, 1927 to the late James Henry Fitzgerald II and Helen Theresa Conlon. She married John J. McDonald "Jack" who predeceased her in 1993. Surviving are her four children, Janet McIntosh (Donald) of West Harwich, John J. McDonald Jr. (Nancy) of Walpole, Joseph F. McDonald (Susan) of Westwood, Paula Kavolius (Mark) of Walpole, MA; eleven grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren and her cousin Jean Umschied (George) of Westwood. She was preceded in death by her brother, James H. Fitzgerald III of Braintree, sister Helen Ludwig of Burlington and Marie Willard of Falls Church, VA.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend Visiting Hours in the Holden, Dunn and Lawler Funeral Home, 55 High Rock St., Westwood on Monday Sept. 20th from 4-7pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday morning Sept. 21st at 10am in St. Margaret Mary Church, 845 High St., Westwood. Interment at New Westwood Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Margaret's memory to: Guild for Human Services, 521 Virginia Rd. Concord, MA 01742.
