Loretta B. LaCamera

Loretta B. LaCamera, of Westwood, MA died May 31^st, 2023 surrounded by her loving family. Beloved wife of the late John J. LaCamera. Loving mother of General Paul J. LaCamera (U.S. Army) and his wife Theresa stationed in the Republic of Korea; LTC Trése A. Bannister (US Army, Ret.) of Westwood, and her husband MG Jeffrey Bannister (deceased); Carolynne M. Cronin and her husband John J. Jr. of Westwood; and Michael S. LaCamera of Boston. She was the grandmother of 13, great grandmother of 2 and sister of Anne M. McGuire of Norwood. Also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.

Loretta was the epitome of strength, character, and humility. Her faith and quiet  example made her the rock of her family.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend Visiting Hours in the Holden, Dunn and Lawler Funeral Home, 55 High Rock St., Westwood on Monday June 5^th from 4-7pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday morning June 6^th at 11am in St. Denis Church, 157 Washington St., Westwood. Interment at New Westwood Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in  Loretta’s memory to the charity of your choice.
