Linda Tufts

TUFTS, Linda L., aged 67, of Dover, MA passed away at home unexpectedly on February 28, 2021. Loving and devoted mother to her two daughters, Alexandra Francendese of the United Kingdom and Katharine Francendese of Dover, MA.

Linda was an accomplished woman. She graduated MIT with a SM in Management with concentrations in strategy and finance from the MIT Sloan School of Management, an SB in Electrical Engineering and an SB in Humanities and Science (Physics) from MIT. Linda was a General Partner at Fletcher Spaght Inc. and Ventures, where she worked in healthcare/IT consulting and supported the venture capital branch of the company for over 30 years. Linda also served on the boards of multiple companies and her business acumen was appreciated by many. Prior to her business career, Linda worked as a practicing engineer in the energy sector.

During her spare time, Linda loved to travel and made every effort to ensure that her daughters were able to see the world with her. Linda was strong, pragmatic, and a confidante to her two daughters.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend Visiting Hours in the Holden, Dunn and Lawler Funeral Home, 55 High Rock St., Westwood on Sunday March 14th from 2-5pm. We ask that all guests please wear masks to ensure everyone's health and safety. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers, donations in Linda's name may be made to the American Heart Association at heart.org.
