Lawrence J. Chidley

CHIDLEY – Lawrence J., of Boston and Florida, formerly of Westwood, died October 24, 2009. Beloved husband of the late Elizabeth A. (Hickey) Chidley. Loving father of Jean E. MacDonald and her late husband Kenneth of Boston and Judith A. Molphy and her husband Raymond of Northport, FL. Devoted grandfather of Jennifer MacDonald of Boston, Susannah Sussman and her husband Dave of NJ, Michelle Robichaud and her husband Jim of Hingham and Michael DiPietro and Talia of Marshfield. Great grandfather of Colin, Jared, Corbin, Ellen, Nicholas and Caprice. Brother of the late Stephen and Thomas Chidley. Also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend visiting hours in the Holden, Dunn and Lawler Funeral Home, 55 High Rock St. (off Route 109) Westwood on Sunday Nov. 1st from 3-7pm. Funeral from the funeral home on Monday morning Nov. 2nd at 10am followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Margaret Mary Church at 11am. Interment with military honors at New Westwood Cemetery. Donations may be made in Lawrence’s memory to the M.S.P.C.A., 350 South Huntington Ave., Boston, MA 02130. Lawrence was a WWII Veteran serving with the Merchant Marines.
