FOX – Laurence B., of Westwood, died peacefully at home surrounded by his loving family on October 11th, 2015.
Beloved husband of the late Florence R. (O'Sullivan) Fox. Loving father of Rita Ramsdell of Westwood, Arlene Fox of Maui, Hawaii, Geraldine Mathews and her husband Steven of Millis and Laurence C. Fox and his wife Michelle of Foxboro. Also survived by 7 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. Brother of the late Florence Thompson.
Laurence was the former co-owner of the Beacon Vacuum Co., he was also a former Brookline Firefighter Ladder 43, a Past Commander and Chaplain of the U.S.S. Jacob Jones VFW Post 2017 in Dedham and a U.S. Navy Veteran of WWII.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend visiting hours in the Holden, Dunn and Lawler Funeral Home, 55 High Rock St. (off Route 109) Westwood on Thursday Oct. 15th from 4-8pm. Funeral from the funeral home on Friday morning Oct. 16th at 9am followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Margaret Mary Church, 845 High St., Westwood at 10am. Interment with military honors at New Westwood Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Laurence's memory to the Disabled American Veterans.
