Kathleen P. (Moclaire) Scales, of Westwood, died April 19, 2010.
Beloved wife of Richard L. Scales for 34 years. Loving mother of Richard M. of Braintree, William D. of Jamaica Plain, Kathleen M. of South Boston, Sarah E. of Norwood, Ryan R, Kerri L. and Margaret J. all of Brooklyn, NY and James W. of Westwood. Grandmother of Sean T. Scales. Devoted daughter of Mildred M. (Roberts) Moclaire of Braintree and the late William P. Moclaire.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend visiting hours in St. Margaret Mary Church, 845 High St. (Route 109) Westwood on Thursday April 22nd from 4-8pm. A Prayer Service will take place during the visitation at 6pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday morning April 23rd in St. Margaret Mary Church at 10am. Interment private.
Kathleen received her Bachelors in Elementary Education from Seton Hall University in South Orange, NJ. She went on to receive her Masters of Special Education from Cambridge College in Cambridge, MA. Devoted teacher all her life, initially in Ridgewood, NJ and then for many years in Westwood Public Schools in the Special Needs Pre-School program. Lifelong parishioner and teacher at St. Margaret Mary’s Parish in Westwood, MA. Her presence among us will be greatly missed.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Kathleen’s memory to Dana Farber Cancer Institute, 44 Binney St., Boston, MA 02215 or to Autism Speaks, 1060 State Rd., Second Floor, Princeton, NJ 08540.
