Kathleen Mitchell

MITCHELL, Kathleen, of Worcester, died unexpectedly on Friday September 30, 2016. Katie was a dearly loved member of a large extended family who will miss her greatly. Her potential was as boundless as her love for her three daughters who were the most important thing in the world to her. She is remembered for her generosity, her sense of humor, and for continually striving to create a better life for herself and her children. Kathleen is survived by her husband Ronald P. Furtado of Fall River, and daughters Christine Clark, Emily Furtado, and Michaela Furtado all of Fall River, her mother Patricia Mitchell of Medway, her father Charles Mitchell and his wife Joan Mitchell of Mashpee, her brothers Kevin Mitchell and wife Cheryl of Dartmouth, Brian Mitchell of Westwood, Thomas Mitchell and wife Mary Jane of Medfield, and sisters Mary Ellen Slater and husband Derek Slater of Petaluma CA and Nancy Wood and husband Alan Wood of Newmarket NH. Also survived by many loving nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a visitation in the Holden, Dunn and Lawler Funeral Home, 55 High Rock St., Westwood on Tuesday morning Oct. 11th from 9 -10:30am. Following the visitation, a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in St. Margaret Mary Church, 845 High St., Westwood, at 11am. Interment at Old Westwood Cemetery.
