ANDERSON – Kathleen (Engler), of Westwood, formerly of Jamaica Plain, died at her home on the morning of June 21st 2010. Beloved wife of John J. Anderson for 37 years. Loving mother of Eve and Priscilla Anderson both of Norwood and Gillian Anderson of Westwood. Sister of Mary Jane Benoit and her husband Lee of Hanover and Priscilla Merrigan and her husband Gerald of Wellesley. Also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend visiting hours in the Holden, Dunn and Lawler Funeral Home, 55 High Rock St. (off Route 109) Westwood on Friday June 25th from 4-8pm. Funeral from the funeral home on Saturday morning June 26th at 9am followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Margaret Mary Church at 10am. Interment private.
Kathleen had an affectionate wit, she possessed keen wisdom and sustained friends and family with her steadfast love.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Kathleen’s memory to The ALS Clinical Research Fund, c/o Mr. Shawn Fitzgibbons, MGH Development Office, 165 Cambridge St., Boston, MA 02114.
