D'Angelo, Karen E. (Adams), age 66, of Norfolk, passed peacefully on February 23, 2019, at home.
She was surrounded by her loving husband of 31 years, Leonard D'Angelo, and her two daughters Marie D'Angelo and Nicole D'Angelo. She was born in Chelsea to George S. Adams and Julia Adams (Gajewski), both of Chelsea. She leaves behind a loving sister Christine Ronan (Adams), wife of Edward Ronan, and brother James J. Adams. She was a loving daughter-in-law to Ida D'Angelo and the late Nicolo D'Angelo, both of Medford.
Karen dedicated over 35 years of her life to nursing, working as a hospital nurse, a visiting nurse, and then a public health nurse. Her devotion to others not only led her to her career in nursing, but also inspired her to be a constantly giving member of her church and the Norfolk community. A loving wife and mother, Karen's life was guided by her passion for family, friends, and faith.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend visiting hours in the Holden, Dunn and Lawler Funeral Home, 55 High Rock St., WESTWOOD on Thursday February 28th from 4-8pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday morning March 1st at St. Jude Church, 86 Main St., Norfolk at 11:30 am. Interment at Norfolk Cemetery.
