Judith (Higgins) Baker

BAKER – Judith (Higgins), of Dover, formerly of Topsfield, died January 15th, 2016. Beloved wife of Thomas J. Baker for 51 years. Loving mother of Thomas J. Baker Jr. of Somerville, Maura Riley and her husband Melvin of Greensboro, NC and Kathleen Bruns and her husband Paul of Johnson, VT. Devoted grandmother of Kaelyn and Vin Riley and Zoe Bruns. Sister of the late Paul, Jack and Leo Higgins. Also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.

Judy was a Registered Nurse all of her adult life working in downtown Boston at Health Resources Corp. She was an avid tennis and golf player often seen on the green at Wellesley County Club. She enjoyed vacations in the mountains and in particular, summers on Nantucket.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend visiting hours in the Holden, Dunn and Lawler Funeral Home, 55 High Rock St., Westwood on Thursday Jan. 21st from 4-8pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday morning Jan. 22nd at 11am in Most Precious Blood Church, 30 Centre St., Dover. Interment at Highland Cemetery, Dover. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Judy's memory to the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, P.O. Box 849168, Boston, MA 02284.
