Joseph M. McDonough

McDonough – Joseph M., of Westwood, died March 31st 2010. Beloved husband of Elaine M. (Rutledge) McDonough for 54 years. Loving father of Elaine McDonough and her husband Lawrence Kjeldahl of MN, Brian McDonough of Westford and Karen McDonough of Westwood. Devoted grandfather of David and Ingrid Kjeldahl and Jake McDonough. Brother of John McDonough and Mary Fortune both of FL and the late Patrick and Walter McDonough. Also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend visiting hours in the Holden, Dunn and Lawler Funeral Home, 55 High Rock St. (off Route 109) Westwood on Monday April 5th from 4-8pm. Funeral from the funeral home on Tuesday morning April 6th at 9am followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Margaret Mary Church at 10am. Interment with military honors at New Westwood Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Joseph’s memory to Caritas Homecare, 3 Edgewater Drive, Norwood, MA 02062. Joseph was an Administrator in the Boston Public Schools and a U.S. Navy Veteran of WWII.
