John "Jack" Troy

August 28, 1959 — November 7, 2024

Eastham, MA & Westwood, MA

John “Jack” Troy, of Eastham, MA, passed away on November 7, 2024. Jack was born in New York, NY on August 28, 1959 to Maryann and Richard Troy. Jack is survived by his beloved wife Wendy, and their three beautiful children – Daniel, Shane and Brooke. Not only was he a loving son, husband and father, but he was also a dedicated brother to his three sisters, Donna, Suzanne and Paula. His new role as “Papa” to Danny and Winnie is something that always made him smile. He cared about family more than anything, including his many uncles, aunts, nieces and nephews.

Jack, a longtime native of Westwood, MA, was a fixture within the communities he and his family spent time in across New England. From Summers on Cape Cod, to Fall in the Berkshires, and Winters in Vermont, Jack could always be found enjoying the outdoors with family and friends.

Personally and professionally, Jack was passionate about connecting with those around him. When he extended his hand, to those he did and did not know, he did so with sincere curiosity as to how they were doing. He cared for all and felt personally invested in their lives. We will all miss his bright smile, quick wit and sense of humor.
