John T. Riley of Norwood, MA passed away peacefully, in his sleep on Tuesday April 14th, 2026. He was the son of the late Mary (Houghton) Riley of Westwood, MA and the late John J. Riley of Syracuse, NY and brother of the late Daniel E. Riley of Boston, MA.
John is survived by his brother Michael Riley and his wife Patricia of Norton, MA. He was the proud and loving uncle of Kristen Levy and her husband David, Michael M. Riley and his wife Molly and Katherine Riley. He is also survived by his great nieces and nephews; Sean Levy, Ryan Levy, Olivia Riley & Kayla Riley, whose love brought tremendous joy and light to his life.
John was honored to have served his country having spent 9 years with the National Guard during the Korean War. He was very close to his family and always cherished their visits. He was a man who valued hard work. He spent over 40 years working in construction before retiring at 64 due to serious injury on the job that left him permanently disabled.
