MORRISON, John F., of Westwood, MA, lost his eight year battle to cancer on May 2, 2021 surrounded by his loving family. John's legacy is not only his family, but cancer research so that perhaps others may not have to suffer as he did. Upon his death, he donated tumors and tissues to cancer research. His wish was that others know this program exists and hopefully cancer remain not only treated, but obliterated.
John is survived by his loving wife of 40 years, Donna, as well as his beautiful daughters, Jonna Davis of Lumberton NC, and Karyn Morrison of Westwood MA. He was beloved Papa to Sarah Hutchison, Jackson Davis, Austin Davis, and Carson Davis, who predeceased him. He was brother to William Morrison (Ann) of Westwood, Kathleen Wallace (David) of Manassas, VA, and Roderick Morrison, who predeceased him. He was brother in law to Sheila Morrison of Wells ME, and beloved uncle to Brian Morrison and James Morrison; Shawn, Brian, and Nathan Wallace, and Quentin Morrison.
John is survived by many other nieces, nephews, cousins, family and friends.
John was predeceased by his parents Roderick and Margaret (Mahoney) Morrison.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Wednesday morning May 12th at 10:30am in St. Timothy's Church, 650 Nichols St., Norwood. Interment at Old Westwood Cemetery.
