Matthews, John C., age 86, of Westwood, passed away suddenly on Tuesday, June 25, 2019 surrounded by his loving family. Beloved husband of Joan (Egan) Matthews for 62 years. Loving father to John Matthews of Brockton, Kevin Matthews and his wife Ruth of Falmouth and Kathleen Sobol and her husband Paul of Rockland. Brother to Elaine Matthews of Norton and dear brother to the late Thomas Matthews and Lillian Lussier. Proud Grampi to his grandchildren who loved and adored him. John also leaves extended family and friends.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend visiting hours in the Holden, Dunn and Lawler Funeral Home, 55 High Rock St., WESTWOOD on Monday July 8th from 4-8pm. Funeral services and interment will be private.
