John R. Lynch

LYNCH – John R., of Westwood, formerly of Roslindale, died July 7th, 2016. Beloved husband of the late Anne C. (Murphy) Lynch. Loving father of Marie B. Lynch of Westwood and James F. Lynch and his wife Margaret of Kingston, NH. Beloved grandfather of John S. and Matthew J. Lynch. Devoted son of the late James E. and Ella T. Lynch. John was a kind and gentle man who was completely devoted to his family, friends and pets. Relatives and friends are invited to attend visiting hours in the Holden, Dunn and Lawler Funeral Home, 55 High Rock St., Westwood on Monday July 11th from 4-7pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday morning July 12th at 10am in St. Margaret Mary Church, 845 High St., Westwood. Interment with military honors at New Westwood Cemetery. Donations may be made on line in John's memory to the Trustees of Reservations at www.thetrustees.org. John was a U.S. Navy Veteran of WWII who served in the Okinawa campaign.
